Family Law & Divorce
Representing Clients in
Travis & Williamson Counties
Putting the future of your family into the hands of an attorney and the courts is not an easy decision for anyone to make. Few things are as personal and private as your marriage and children, and rightly so. Family court can be an emotionally exhausting and overwhelming experience --but it doesn't have to be. We're here to make the process as simple and straightforward as possible, by minimizing conflict when appropriate and fighting for our clients when necessary.
Practice Areas
01.
Divorce
When you and your spouse have made the decision to go your separate ways, your divorce can take a few different paths. Whether you end up with a negotiated settlement, a mediated agreement, or a litigated case in the courtroom, we have the experience to help you through the process.
02.
Agreed Divorce
Also called an "Uncontested Divorce", when you and your spouse are able to work together to agree on all the terms of your divorce, we can turn your agreements into a Final Decree of Divorce and guide you through the court process while keeping fees low.
03.
Domestic Violence
Survivors of domestic violence face many unique situations within the Family Court system. Our firm
has the dedicated experience representing clients seeking Protective Orders for the safety of applicants and their children.
04.
Child Custody
A custody order can help establish who has certain rights and decision-making abilities between the parties, as well as the time children spend with the parties. Although there are some standard schedules, we can work with you to tailor a custom schedule that is tailored to your child's unique circumstances.
05.
Child Support
When parents of children are separated, the Texas Family Code typically requires that one parent pays an amount of support in order to help provide for the child. The state provides guidelines for what this amount should be. We can help figure out what that amount should be, as well as modify that amount when financial circumstances change.
